CALIFORNIA HERE WE ARE - Thursday, February 23, 2017 - Day Twenty-five- Sacramento, CA

Today Jason got to join the group since his jury duty was finally over. We met Jason, Chris and C.J. at a parking lot for the light rail and took it to Midtown to see the Capitol and the grounds. Chris pointed out different places where she had worked and we went into the Capitol. The kids saw the California Bear, the statue of Queen Isabella and the portrait of Arnold, as Governor. We walked the grounds, took some family photos and then went to Pizza Rock for lunch. After lunch we walked a bit further and passed the new Golden 1 Center, where the Kings play. We weren't able to catch a game due to the All Star break. With tired kids in tow we rode the light rail and then returned home. The kids were able to get in two hot tub sessions today so all was good. Another great family day! This is when I wish we all lived closer but then realize that when we do get together the times are so special I just have to cherish them.
